Coarse fishing opportunities are plentiful with licences available at the Post Office or Storrs in the Market Square.  Pegs are available on the river itself or at the local well stocked fishing lakes.  Local sites in Thorpe and Croft offer caravanning and camping facilities with seasonal or day fishing.
